The Music Library is using a new program called SubItUp to schedule employee shifts! You can login here or download the app to have it on your phone. You can view your schedule, drop a shift for a certain day, or swap shifts for the whole semester if your schedule changes. Detailed support about using the program can be found here if you have questions. SubItUp will send notifications via email or text about all of your scheduled shifts and shift changes!
You are permitted to miss shifts or partial shifts for reasons such as rehearsal conflicts, classes, concerts, etc. IF you submit the request at least 3 business days in advance on SubItUp. You must enter an explanation for the reason you are dropping the shift. Dropping a shift will change the status to a pending drop and you’re still responsible for working this shift until someone else accepts it or it is approved by a manager! If a coworker decides to add your dropped shift or your request is approved, you will be notified and the shift will be removed from your schedule. If you miss a shift and have not submitted a request, this will result in an unexcused absence. Three unexcused absences are cause for dismissal from your position.
If an emergency arises, please message the Teams chat or GroupMe to let a staff member know that you will be taking an absence. This will not count as an unexcused absence. In cases where you will be late to work, do the same thing to let a staff member know that you will be late.
