  1. Turn on the lights
  2. Check emergency exits
  3. Empty the dehumidifiers
  4. Check the balcony to make sure the drain is not stopped up or there is any flooding outside.
  5. Check the printers for paper. Report low or empty printer paper amounts in Teams.
  6. Check the copy center for supplies (clip-binders, highlighters, paper clips, Post-Its, staples, scissors). Replenish as needed. Report needs for new supplies in Teams.
  7. Check tables and carrels for messes/waste. Report messy public areas in Teams.
  8. Unlock the equipment file cabinet with the Equipment key from the key box

  10. Log in to Alma
  11. At opening time, unlock the main doors
  12. Check the book drop for returns and the program box for programs. Each will require a separate key. To delete loans of items returned in the bookdrop, use the Override Return Date and Time feature from Fulfillment>Return Item to mark the return date as the last hour that the library was open.
  13. Turn on the monitor used for digital signage.
  14. Check the Blair entrance book drop for returns. Take a mail tub with you. The key is marked in the key box as Outside Book Drop.  To delete loans of items returned in the bookdrop, use the Override Return Date and Time feature from Fulfillment>Return Item to mark the return date as the last hour that the library was open.
