Music Library Staff Guide: Severe Weather

Heavy Rain

There are several places in the library where we often have leaks from the ceiling. In the event of heavy rain, make sure to check around the library often for leaks. The most notable place is above the ML410s for Ligeti and Liszt. If you see any leaks, report them to a staff member. Cover any books/scores that may be beneath the leak with plastic sheets from the vault and put a bucket out to catch the water.
