Alarm and Door Alarms
Emergency Exit Annunciator (located to left of service desk; emits sustained beep tone)
Main Alarm Panels (located on wall near supervisor workstation; sounds like European police siren)
If either alarm is triggered during your shift, notify the supervisor or student supervisor on duty. They may ask for help investigating an exit area in the building.
Keys
Keys to private study rooms are located on the organizing hooks under the ledge at the main service desk.
Internal Library Phone
The phone located above the supervisor workstation is an internal phone system for the Library building. Phones are posted on each floor. If a patron picks one up it will call the service desk. This phone can be used for quick communication to the service desk. Patrons may ask for assistance (if they need help locating a book), or may call to report an emergency.
