How do I sign up?
Wall Street Journal:
New York Times:
Why are you providing this?
The library vets and provides relevant and credible content for coursework, careers, and decision making. The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times are credible sources for news and business information.
I have a subscription already, but want to take advantage of these new free (digital only) subscriptions:
WSJ:
Cancel by calling 1-800-JOURNAL. Then you will be able to activate your sponsored membership (with the same username/email if you wish to do so).
NY Times:
Cancel by contacting Customer Care at 1-800-NYTIMES or send an email to educationassistance@nytimes.com if you have questions about your account.
Can I get a print copy with this subscription?
No.
How long will I have the subscription?
While you are a member of the current Vanderbilt community as a student, faculty or staff – alumni will not be able to retain access.
Can I use the App version?
Yes. Once you sign up through the special link, you can download the app and sign in with your new credentials.
I’m faculty, can I post an article in Brightspace?
Yes, you just put a link in your course. All students can have accounts and therefore full access to WSJ.com and NYTimes.com articles.
Is there any access to archives?
Can I link to a specific article?
Can I keep my subscription after I graduate?
Why am I asked to login on some occasions and not others?
The WSJ link you gave isn’t working for me, I am using Microsoft Edge.
I had a NY Times account, but now I can’t get in!
Does the NYT subscription have any restrictions?
