VU Business Insights Badge

The VU Business Insights badge empowers undergraduate students with essential business research skills. Engage with expert librarians, access premium business information subscriptions, and complete practical projects to enhance your professional skill set. 

The VU Business Insights badge is part of the VandyPass program, which provides Vanderbilt University undergraduate students a virtual roadmap by tracking their experiential learning and connecting it to different career pathways. Upon completion of the VU Business Insights Badge, students will receive a digital badge (microcredential) they can share on their LinkedIn profile and resume. 

The VU Business Insights Badge development was informed by both the NACE Career Competencies as well as the ALA/SLA Business Research Competencies. Students completing the badge will walk away with fundamental business research skills. Whether you are an Undergraduate Business Program minor, Economics or HOD major, or preparing to search and/or interview for internships or employment, these skills are the building blocks for lifelong success.

• All deliverables for badge tasks will be uploaded to the VandyPass platform.
