Hello, I'm the English Librarian at Vanderbilt University and the library liaison for English, Theatre, and American Studies. I hold a dual degree MLS/MA in History, a Certificate in Archives and Preservation of Cultural Materials, and a BA in English with an emphasis in Creative writing. From 2022-23, I studied graphic medicine as a Fulbright Student in Berlin Germany and I currently instruct a graduate level course at Queens College called "Comics in Libraries."

My research interests include comics and graphic novels, creative writing, cultural institutionalization, comic translations, 20th and 21st century American history, French history and popular culture, anime, and speculative fiction.
