ILS Training & Documentation: Alma - Fulfillment

This guide will serve as a central portal of essential and supplemental documents, videos, and links to prepare Vanderbilt University Library Staff for the upcoming ILS implementation.

Key Functions and Tasks for Fulfillment:

View an item's status. Check-out and discharge library materials Place items holds.
Determine loan rules based on item type.

Adjust loan periods (e.g., non-circulating items, date changes due to holidays).

Register new users and edit information on existing users.
Renew library materials. Handle bills/fines. Send user notices.

Fulfillment - Managing patron services, as well as courses and reading lists, resource sharing with other libraries, and other patron requests.
