As a Vanderbilt student, you have access not just to the law library, but to all campus libraries and resources. You may find yourself having to navigate non-law databases and collections if your assignment is interdisciplinary in nature. The law librarians regularly collaborate with subject librarians across campus to support faculty and student research, and are happy to facilitate cross-training on relevant non-law resources. To browse a directory of librarians in all disciplines at Vanderbilt, see Librarians by Subject.
Law librarians are happy to assist you during standard business hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST). For support with faculty research assignments, we strongly encourage RAs to schedule a consultation with a law librarian. VULS faculty are assigned law library liaisons; you can consult the list of faculty liaisons to identify your faculty member's current liaison. Further, a list of current librarians and their emails are available under the "Ask Law" link, on the right-hand side of the Law Library's website. You may also contact the research librarians by sending your questions to law_library_reference@list.vanderbilt.edu, or via chat.
