Library Basics

Library Basics:

Learn about library access and use. Find a place for quiet study or meet with your group in a library study room.

Student ID:

Your student ID is your library card to check out books and to access the law school building. 

The library is currently not open to the public.  Do not leave valuables unattended. Please report problems to the Service Desk.

Books, Materials, and Equipment:

Need to know what you have checked out or renew your items? Login to My Account.

Can't find a book you are looking for? Submit a purchase request [login with VUNet ID], or use Interlibrary Loan.

Reserves:

To find print reserves at a campus library, search the Library catalog by instructor, course name or course number.

To find electronic reserves, use Brightspace.

Friday 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sunday 9:00 a.m. to Midnight

* Library Hours can change during school breaks, exam periods, the summer, etc. See the library website for current hours.

Cell Phone Use Policy

Please, no cell phone use or loud conversation. We hope to make the library a quiet zone for study and research.

Food Policy

The Library does not have a food policy. We understand that students spend long hours studying in the library and we ask only that you be considerate of your fellow students by avoiding noisy and smelly food. Report full trash cans and messes you may see to the Service Desk.
