Charging:

  1. Click on Check Out under Common Tasks in the Circulation tab
  2. Swipe the user’s Commodore Card or Library ID
  • If the user has a Commodore/library card but has neglected to bring it to the library, ask for photo ID or, if it is a student, have them log in to their YES account. Click the User Search Helper () and enter their name.
  • If the user does not have a library account, see the User Record LibGuidefor account creation procedures
  • Watch the Screen!  Some user status alerts will affect the user’s ability to charge items.  The most common user status alerts are described here.
  1. Scan the barcode. 
  2. A piece count window will pop up. CHECK FOR ALL 5 PIECES: power adapter, mouse, ethernet cable, laptop, bag. Enter the override code.
  3. Close the Check Out wizard

Discharging:

  1. Click on the Discharging Wizard (under Common tasks in the Circulation tab)
  2. Scan the barcode
  3. A piece count window will pop up. CHECK FOR ALL 5 PIECES: power adapter, mouse, ethernet cable, laptop, bag. Enter the override code
  4. Close the Discharging Wizard

Charging:
