Dear Vanderbilt GIS Community,
As of November, I will be leaving for maternity leave. I am expecting to return March of 2017. In the meantime, we will have coverage to answer your questions, but on a limited basis. Please forward any questions to "Ask a Librarian". Christian Hung, our graduate assistant, will be taking over for me in the short term. He will do his best to answer questions as they come in, but keep in mind he will be covering only 10 hours a week. You should still be able to schedule appointments as needed. His information is linked in the side bar of this page. Please be patient with us as we try to field all of your requests during my leave.
The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) service in the Vanderbilt Library connects students, faculty, and staff with GIS data, services, and information. The GIS service at Vanderbilt also helps with developing methodology for integrating GIS concepts into research of faculty, staff, and students. Additionally, we are a Census Information Center and help connect our community to U.S. Census Data.
