Special Collections at the Wilson Music Library: Access to Digitized Content

An overview of the special collections available for students, faculty, and researchers held by the Anne Potter Wilson Music Library.

If you have access to JSTOR as a Vanderbilt University ID holder or access from another institution, you can view digitized content from Music Special Collections through the JSTOR platfrom for archival materials. Items that have been digitized and including in JSTOR consist of photographs, scores, and manuscripts.

Aviary

All digitized A/V materials found in Music Special Collections can be found on Aviary. As a Vanderbilt University ID holder, you have access to all the content. If you are not affiliated with Vanderbilt, you may not be able to view all content, but you will have access to the metadata. The content can be requested by outside researchers on the platform. 

Aviary holds A/V materials from the Yusef A. Lateef Collection, the John Birks "Dizzy" Gillespie Collection, and the Phil Schaap Jazz Collection among others.
