- ALFRED: Archival Federal Reserve Economic DataUsing ALFRED® you can retrieve vintage versions of economic data that were available on specific dates in history.The earliest vintage available is 01/26/1927.
- Aruoba-Diebold-Scotti Business Conditions IndexDesigned to track real business conditions at high frequency. A service of the Real-Time Data Research Center (part of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Research Department.)
- Economic Indicators: GPO AccessMonthly compilation prepared for the Joint Economic Committee by the Council of Economic Advisors; provides economic information on prices, wages, production, business activity, purchasing power, credit, money & Federal finance. Data starts in April 1995.
- Federal Reserve Economic Research and DataResearch on a broad range of topics in economics and finance.
- FREDDatabase of U.S. economic time series from a multitude of government agencies. It includes charts of data series & data on banking & finance, statistics on labor, consumer price index, GDP, imports/exports, etc. Data can be downloaded into Excel.

- The Federal Reserve Beige BookPublished eight times per year. Summary of current economic conditions compiled from each Federal Reserve Bank district.
- U.S. Bureau of Economic AnalysisU.S. Economic account data for regional, national, international and industry information.
- U.S. Bureau of Labor StatisticsThe principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics.
- U.S. Census Bureau Economic Indicator Time SeriesThe U.S. Census Bureau's economic indicator surveys provide monthly and quarterly data that are timely, reliable, and offer comprehensive measures of the U.S. economy. These surveys produce a variety of statistics covering construction, housing, international trade, retail trade, wholesale trade, services and manufacturing. The survey data provide measures of economic activity that allow analysis of economic performance and inform business investment and policy decisions. Other data included, which are not considered principal economic indicators, are the Quarterly Summary of State & Local Taxes, Quarterly Survey of Public Pensions, and the Manufactured Homes Survey.
- U.S. Metro Economies ReportReports measuring the impact of our nation’s metropolitan areas. Published by the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
- U.S. Statistical AbstractThe authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States. The U.S. Census Bureau terminated the collection of data for the Statistical Compendia program effective October 1, 2011. The Statistical Compendia program is comprised of the Statistical Abstract of the United States and its supplemental products—the State and Metropolitan Area Data Book and the County and City Data Book. To access the most current data, please refer to the organizations cited in the source notes for each table of the Statistical Abstract.
- Wells Fargo Economic Indicator ReportsWells Fargo's economists provide free, in-depth analysis of economic indicators as they are released by the federal government. Reports are monthly.
