Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC)

Bloomberg Market Concepts is an overview of financial markets. Students who complete this program will recieve a certification. 

You have 2 options for completing this course:

    • It will look as though there is a $150 charge, but it will change to $0 on the check out screen

What is BMC

  • Twelve hours, self-paced, e-learning video course
  • Can earn a Certificate of Completion if you complete the Core Concepts (Modules 1-4.)
  • Utilizes over 70 Bloomberg Terminal functions

BMC has six modules, detailed below. Earbuds required. You do not have to complete all modules in one sitting. Having a calculator is handy.

Module 6: Portfolio Management

  • Describe the role of a portfolio manager
  • Generate ideas and perform extensive research on investment ideas for a portfolio
  • Create a portfolio using screening tools
  • Use PORT to analyze historical performance and risk metrics
  • Use PORT to evaluate future risk and opportunities for a portfolio

Quizzes 
The program will prompt you to take short three to four question exams throughout each module.

Certificate of Completion
If you complete all four Core Concept modules (1-4) you will be prompted to download a Certificate of Completion.
