Restorative Justice in Schools: A Whole-School Implementation Process

  • This report from the Center for Justice Innovation describes the lessons learned from the organization's Restorative Justice in Schools Project, in which the Center implemented restorative approaches in five New York City schools over the course of three years. The guide includes background information on their approach, lessons learned, and the curriculum they used in the schools.

Restorative Justice: Resources for Schools

  • This page links to dozens of resources, including guides for implementing restorative justice in schools, examples of restorative justice success stories in schools, tips and tricks, and future research.

The University of San Diego

  • The University of San Diego has put together a report with six restorative justice practices that educators can implement in their classrooms, along with further links to additional training, reading, and support.

Racial Equity Tools and Equity in the Center

  • These organizations provide strategies and information for those working to support racial equity at every level. The page "Conflict Transformation and Restorative Justice" includes links to dozens of resources and tools for restorative justice and related practices, such as mediation.

Annie E. Casey Foundation

  • The Annie E. Casey Foundation works to promote and implement restorative justice practices. The article "What Is Restorative Justice for Young People?" includes information about the benefits of restorative justice, how it works, and the connections between restorative justice and racial equity. This article also includes additional resources on restorative justice.

  • National Center on Restorative Justice offers webinars, workshops, and conference presentations. They are also developing asynchronous learning modules about restorative justice.
