Package Delivery:

  • Packages for the School of Medicine should be delivered to the appropriate floor and room number.  When someone comes to the front desk with a package, look on the package address label to determine where the package should be delivered.  Often, the label will have a line that says Eskind Biomedical Library and a room number, for example "Eskind Biomedical Library 421".  In this example, the patron should be directed to the elevators to go to that particular room/office on the 4th floor.
  • If the address is unclear, please ask a staff member to help the patron.

Three policies that are implemented at the Information Desk for all staff and students.
1.      No laptops. School readings, assignments, and general web browsing can take place on the workstations.
2.      No earbuds or headphones.
3.      No eating at the desk. You all are purposely paired with a staff member, another student, or a guard. If you need to take a break, inform your partner and eat in the lobby area or the staff lounge in the basement.

Please make sure to record patron counts every hour at the top of the hour

When getting patron counts, please also straighten up / push in any chairs.

Thanks!
