Critical Thinking about Data Visualization
Workshop Abstract: In this workshop, we will discuss the importance of critically analyzing visual elements such as charts, images, and infographics and how this differs from evaluating text. Additionally, participants will discuss elements of data visualizations that can impact the way those visualizations are interpreted and identify questions to ask when evaluating visual data.
