Digital Literacies Workshop Series

Map Literacy

Maps are everywhere! They are in the news, social media, entertainment, journals, etc.  Did you ever stop think “Is this map factually accurate?  Does it have an agenda or bias?”  Geovisualizations, maps, and spatial data can and should be critically evaluated just like any other type of data.  Join Stacy Curry-Johnson to discuss what spatial literacy is and see how to read maps with a critical eye.  You’ll never view maps the same again!

Thursday, February 18, 2:15-3:00 p.m. via Zoom
