While classes are being held online, you may need to access a book (or part of a book) that is held in print at the library. If you are no longer able to pick up a book from on campus, the Library will provide chapter(s) scans at your request. Here are the steps to request materials in electronic formats:
1. Locate the book's table of contents online (often on Amazon) & decide if you need the whole book or only select chapters
2. For an entire book, contact me to let them know the book title you need and I will investigate if it is available as an e-book
3. For book chapters, place an Interlibrary Loan request for the materials you need: https://illiad.library.vanderbilt.edu/illiad/logon/
If you get stuck at any point, email me, and I'll help you out!
Search in the follow platforms to locate e-books on topics in education:
Listed below are a few books at the Peabody Library on the history of education in the United States. When looking in the library catalog for material, try using the subject phrase Education -- United States -- History.
