The American Psychological Association (APA) Style is the writing method used in the Social Sciences. It is the style most instructors require at Peabody.
Like all documentation styles, APA provides a standard system for giving credit to others for their contribution to your work.
The first thing you will need to do is determine what types of sources you have, then use the APA manual or the guides that Peabody Library has created to formulate your APA parenthetical citations and your reference list.
To ensure your paper is organized according to APA standards, refer to the APA manual. The manual provides detailed guidelines on how to format your paper to APA standards.
