Useful Library of Congress Subject Headings

Do a "subject begins with" search using one of the Library of Congress subject headings listed below:

Film Adaptations
      Film Remakes
Film Criticism Academy awards (Motion Pictures)
African-Americans in motion pictures
Independent Filmmakers
Film noir
Horror films
Film Critics
Epic films
Film Festivals
Film Genres

Search Tips

1. Use AND to combine terms (example: criticism AND Spielberg)

2. Use OR to search related terms (example:  Film OR Motion picture)

3. Use $ to truncate a word and return all possible endings (example: using "critic$" -- searches for all variants of the word "critic," for example, critic, critics, criticism)
