Keyword vs. Subject Searching

Step 1: Start your search process by brainstorming a list of keywords that describe the main concepts of your topic or question.

Step 2: When you find a relevant title, click on its title to see its Library Catalog record. ​

Scroll down to its Subject Headings: "Subject." Click on the links to see all the other titles in Library Catalog listed under the same subject heading (tag).

Try a SUBJECT starts with search in Library Catalog using one of the Library of Congress Subject Headings listed below.  This is a good way to focus your search and return the most relevant results.
