findit@VU and ILL

Most of the article databases available through the Library allow you to the Findit@VU button to help you locate the fulltext of articles.

You can also use Findit@VU to help you submit an ILL request for an article we do not have available either electronically or in print at Vanderbilt.

Interlibrary Loan

If you have not been able to find an electronic version of a book or article, etc.  it is possible that Interlibrary Loan can obtain a scan of the article, chapter from a book, etc. They are working very hard now to obtain these in a timely fashion, Please let me know if there are materials you need electronically. It is possible we have access through databases and publishers who have made materials openly accessible temporarily.

What do I need for an ILL Request?

All you need to submit an ILL request is:

  •  your VUnet ID and password  & the citation information for the resource you are requesting

You can start by logging in to the Library's Interlibrary Loan Service.
