The information literacy component of this course will help you to successfully complete your Listening Guide project. There are three short modules that include instructional videos and short assessments. Upon completion of these modules, you will be able to:
1. Use the library catalog to locate the score, one book, and one article about your assigned piece.
2. Use the RILM and MPD databases to locate and access at least two relevant articles about your piece.
3. When necessary, select and use relevant information sources from the open web to research your piece.
4. Format footnotes and bibliographic citations according to the conventions of the Chicago Manual of Style.
5. Use information sources ethically and legally.
