About Subject Files
Some libraries maintain subject files on popular topics. These files may contain brochures, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, flyers, or other material which is too ephemeral to include in the library's permanent catalog. These items may have references to dates, people, or renovations which can then be used to locate articles in local newspapers or other publications.
