GROUP TO TEAM WEEKLY THOUGHT:

Who generates TEAM?
Remember there is an “I” in TEAM.

Welcome to another week of our Group to TEAM Coaching for Success program.

There is an "I" in TEAM but often times it is easier to look at others and see what they are doing wrong.
When we do that we get stuck in the WIN/LOSE mindset which keeps us in resistance, however, the generation of TEAM starts with each individual.

What you choose to generate, to think and to feel has an impact on the culture and context of your environment. Although It is easy to become a spectator or be passive in group dynamics, it is more important to be a “stand” for team.

Sometimes this means inserting your voice or taking an action to support team.  Other times, it simply means holding a positive intention and staying focused on WIN/WIN as you observe other people’s interpersonal dynamics.

THIS WEEK'S ACTIONS:

#1. Put your hand on your heart and say to yourself, “I GENERATE TEAM.”

#2. Practice being a stand for WIN/WIN:

  •  if you hear gossip promoting a negative narrative about someone who isn’t present, say something kind or compassionate about that person to break up the “micro-group” pattern of colluding.

#3. This week make a daily practice of being a “stand” for team – find little ways to represent your commitment and make note of your experience.
