This page contains research guides and resources for students. Toward the bottom of the main page, researchers can locate the Help page for Westlaw. Clicking on that link will suspend charges for the ongoing research session and lead users to a comprehensive help document. You can access this document if you are seeking assistance on how to use research folders, set up custom pages, or use any of the other tools available that help organize your research.
For researchers who are new to Lexis or need some guidance using the system, the Help page is a great resource and is easy to navigate, providing links that lead directly to information about research questions.
Legal content, company and market information, proprietary news, and Bloomberg BNA content that migrated to the Bloomberg Law platform. Includes dockets from PACER. Users will not have access to the “download center” or be able to customize items, including news alerts. They will also not be able to request new dockets, but will be able to see existing dockets already on the system. On-campus access is available to all VU faculty, staff, and students. Off-campus access is available to law users only via username and password. For registration assistance, contact a law reference librarian.
