Participants will be able to:

describe the benefits of writing learning outcomes in order to evaluate teaching and assess student learning.

identify the steps in the instructional design process.

write a comprehensive lesson plan for an instructional scenario.

develop strategies for engaging students and boosting participation levels in library instruction sessions.
discuss the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education in order to facilitate collaborations with disciplinary faculty and guide instruction.
