Vanderbilt History of Medicine Collections
The History of Medicine Collections at Eskind Biomedical Library curates, preserves, and provides access to rare books, manuscripts, photographs, artifacts, and other materials covering the history of medicine since 1500. The collection's strengths include the history of nutrition, surgery, anatomy, and pediatrics, as well as the history of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

AIDS History Project Collections
The AIDS History Project holds the papers of some of the UCSF faculty members who were pioneers in AIDS research, patient care, and public health policy. Other major holdings include the records of Ward 84/86 at SFGH—the outpatient AIDS Clinic that formed the nucleus of what became the “San Francisco model” of AIDS care—and early records of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Other collections, such as the Bobbi Campbell Diary, are frank descriptions of the life and activities of PWAs (People with AIDS). Materials comprising the AIDS History Project are diverse, ranging from handwritten correspondence and notebooks to typed and printed correspondence and agency records to ephemera, printed magazines, and books. Also notable are AIDS epidemic related materials that were reunited through a 2017 NEH Grant.
Interactive AIDS Memorial Quilt
Interactive Digital Version of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. Individuals and groups create Quilt panels to honor, remember and celebrate the stories and lives of those ones lost to HIV/AIDS. Today, there are roughly 50,000 panels dedicated to more than 110,000 individuals in this tapestry.
Library of Congress Coronavirus Web Archive
The Coronavirus Web Archive contains representative web-based content that documents the impact and response to the Covid-19 pandemic on communities across the United States and the world. This collection was curated by subject specialists from across the Library in order to present a multidisciplinary collection. Subjects and creators include: federal, state, local, and tribal government; science and technology; economics and labor; arts and culture; public and social policy; education; psychology; sports and recreation; and religion. African American, Asian American, Latino/a/x, and Native American communities are reflected in this collection as both web content creators and marginalized populations impacted by the pandemic. A sample of coronavirus content from Asia, South America, Africa, Europe, and Oceania is also featured in the collection.

Archivo Mesoamericano
Archivo Mesoamericano is a digital archive of annotated historical and ethnographic video materials created in collaboration with the Center for Research and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology (CIESAS) in Mexico, the Institute of History of Nicaragua and Central America (IHNCA) in Nicaragua, and the Museum of the Word and the Image (MUPI) in El Salvador. Collectively, the Archivo contains footage dating from 1974 to 2007, and addresses such topics as human rights, political violence, youth movements, the Sandinista government, guerrilla media, revolutionary literature, armed conflict and international relations, among other subjects.
