Training Opportunities

The Eskind Biomedical Library Informationist offer free training on selected resources to Vanderbilt University and Medical Center faculty, staff, and students. Current training opportunities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Author Services: Transformative Agreements, Open Access Publishing, ORCID
  • Citation Management: EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero
  • Covidence Review Software
  • Drug Information Resources
  • Evidence-Based Practice Resources
  • Library Orientations
  • Searching for Biomedical Literature
  • Specific databases: PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, PsycINFO, Cochrane Library, etc.

Request Training

The Eskind Biomedical Library provides Remote Library Resource Training along with in-person training is also available. Remote training utilizes Zoom or Teams video conferencing and allows us to answer questions and share screens in real-time. All of our meeting times will be based upon Central Standard Time.
