Locating Books in the Library
Materials are shelved by Library of Congress (LC) call numbers
Click the link below for information on how to read a call number and locate books in the library.
Books on an Author (Author as Subject), Including Criticism
- use Advanced search
- select Library Catalog radio button
- select Books for Material Type
- select Subject (contains) and enter the author's name
- narrow or broaden results by Subject under 'Refine your results'
Books on an Individual Work (Literary Criticism)
- use Advanced search
- select Library Catalog radio button
- select Books for Material Type
- select Subject (contains) and enter the author's name

select Any field (contains) and enter a keyword or keywords in the title of the work
