Current awareness resources are intended to help you understand new and developing issues of interest in your research area. These resources can aid in identifying topics for seminar papers.
These current awareness publications are heavily used by attorneys to keep up with recent cases, proposed legislation, and developments within their practice areas. All of these resources require a subscription, which is provided to all Vanderbilt law students.
Many of these are BNA newsletter/looseleaf services, now presented online as BNA Resource Centers. These are very well-respected resources that have been used by attorneys for many years to keep up-to-date with new court decisions and litigation, new or pending legislation or regulations, and other news and developments in the law. They include expert news & commentary and useful legal analysis, often in addition to treatises and other tools. They are excellent sources both for keeping up on legal news as well as for finding a current, interesting seminar paper topic.
The following is a collection of websites maintained by music industry, artist, and advocacy organizations. Some are designed to be neutral and educational, while others may have a specific bias or agenda.
