BiGLI, Bibliografia Generale della Lingua e della Letteratura Italiana
The BiGLI , "General Bibliography of the Italian Language and Literature" is an annual magazine conceived and realized by the Pio Rajna Center , published by the Salerno Editrice since 1994 (vol. I, bibliographical year 1991), which records and charts, with high criteria scientific rigor, everything published in the world, in books and scientific journals, on the subject of Italian language and literature .
In the course of the 20 volumes published (the latest is the XXI-XXII 2011-2012 vol., Published in December 2015) - containing about 500,000 bibliographic information, from ca. 9,000 of the vol. I to over 30,000 of the last -, BiGLI has established itself as a fundamental tool for scientific work and knowledge in general, achieved through the timely registration of all published materials: editions of texts, critical and historical investigations, philological-linguistic notes , essays, monographs, reviews and bibliographic reviews, etc., interesting the entire historical arch of Italian literature, from the origins of the language and written literature to the present day, providing indications about the contents, the articulation of the treated themes, the references to secondary themes. In fact, a census of the diffusion and circulation of Italian culture in the world.
