East Asia Virtual Library -- Religions, journals, libraries, institutes, resources.

Japan Center for Asian Historical Records (JACAR) -- Digital database of Japan's historical records testifying to its pre-war relations with the Asian countries. It is an ongoing project archiving official documents of the Cabinet, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Army and Navy, dating from the Meiji era through 1945.

Modern Chinese Literature and Culture Resource Center -- Contains bibliographies of mostly English-language materials on modern Chinese literature, film, art, and culture and more; from Ohio State.

Japanese Text Initiative -- Classical Japanese Literature, from the University of Virginia Library.

Historical Atlas of South Asia -- edited by Joseph Schwartzberg. Part of the Digital South Asia Library.

Japanese Historical Maps -- From the East Asian Library, UC Berkeley. Contains about 2,300 early maps of Japan and the World.

Maps of China and Asia -- Includes maps of neighboring countries. Province and city maps, road maps, historical maps, satellite maps, and more.
