What is Copyright?
Copyright is the legal protection for authors, composers and performers against having their works used by others without permission. Copyright is the legal method by which the original creator of the work receives payments for their works. Attempting to avoid proper copyright compliance has cost companies and individuals millions of dollars in fines and fees.
