GIS Contacts

Lindsey Fox  is the Vanderbilt GIS Coordinator.  She is available to help Vanderbilt users with any GIS projects, problems, or maps.

Christian Hung is the Graduate Assistant for GIS.  He is available to help Vanderbilt users with any GIS project or problem that you might have.  Email him today!

Rick Stringer-Hye is the librarian for Earth and Environmental Science and Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has basic experience with GIS and maintains the Science and Engineering Library Map Collection.

Services

Methodology and Troubleshooting
The Vanderbilt GIS Service may also assist in development of reserach methods using GIS.  How to troubleshoot or streamline certain GIS processes can also be advised by the service.
 
GPS Units
The library offers 5 Garmin GPSMap handheld GPS units for checkout from the Peabody Library. The units are user-friendly and great for classroom instruction, hikes, GPS games, and a wide variety of research and data collection purposes. Check the GPS page for more info.
 
Other Resources
